Michael Eckhoff and Rachael Maurer of Moore, Oklahoma receive assistance from Red Cross family service volunteer Frances Davis of Helena, Montana at the Red Cross Service Center in Moore. Michael and Sarah Collum's home was destroyed in Oklahoma City.  Sarah is due in October with their first child and has been busy decorating the baby's new room -- all of which was destroyed when the tornado hit. Nations bank donated this mobile training facility to the Greater Carolinas Chapter.  It is being well utilized at the Oklahoma tornadoes.
Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs) line up at the kitchen to receive meals for their evening dinner run in Norman and Moore Oklahoma.
Meals are prepared by the Southern Baptist Men and loaded into cambros which keep the meals hot.  Cambros are sanitized before each use.
ERVs are brought in from chapters throughout the United States to respond to the Oklahoma tornadoes.
Many companies step forward to donate products needed by the disaster relief effort.  Donated items can include everything from water to cleanup supplies.

Sam's Club donated $15,000 to the Red Cross to assist the Oklahoma Tornado victims. Disaster Mental Health staff and volunteers distribute items aimed at lessening the tramatic effects the tornadoes have on small children.
Donald Harris of Moore, Oklahoma lost his home of 20+ years to the May 2003 Oklahoma tornadoes.  A Red Cross outreach team consisting of Claire Rabascoe, RN a Disaster Health Services volunteer from New Jersey, David Nunez, Jr., a Family Service volunteer from Texas, Penelope Trieb, a Disaster Mental Health volunteer from New York and Carol Nunez, a Family Service volunteer from Texas come to check on his status and help him fill out his paperwork.  Donald's home has been hit by three tornadoes since he's lived there and he said he is going to move to Oklahoma City.

Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs) deliver hot food to individuals affected by the tornado.  ERV crews come from around the country and deliver meals and cleanup supplies door to door in the disaster affected area.
Don Moore, whose home sustained tornado damage, gets hot meals and drinks for his family from the American Red Cross.  This community has no electricity, water or gas service at this time.  May 2003 Oklahoma Tornadoes
Ramona Wilkerson of Moore, Oklahoma gets meals for herself and her husband from an American Red Cross ERV.  Many cars were damaged or destroyed when the tornado touched down leaving families without transportation and relying on the Red Cross to bring hot meals to their doorstep.
Reagan, age 4 and who was crying just moments before, becomes instantly happy when presented with Red Cross/Ty stuffed animals.  Regan's home was destroyed in Moore, Oklahoma by the tornado and Reagan lost all her toys.

As of May 16th, 1385 comfort kits have been distributed by the American Red Cross to tornado affected families in Oklahoma.  A comfort kit consits of personal hygiene items -- tooth paste, tooth brush, comb, razor, washcloth, tissue, deodorant, shampoo, lotion, and soap.  Many families have lost everything...
